We are trying to locate the Italian restaurant, near the Galleria, where the foreign teachers gather. If you have directions or a closer landmark, than the Galleria... and even the name of the restaurant, please share!! Thanks! |

Zio Ricco's. Down the alley that is just to the right of the Baskin and Robbins, very close to JoongAng Rotary. |

If you are on foot then it's NOWHERE NEAR Galleria! It's closer to the river and the hillside park and museum than it is to Galleria!
Basically head north toward Galleria from the bridge and only go one and a half blocks, turning off at Baskin & Robbins (there are at least three B&R in town) BEFORE the big intersection where you'd turn west to go to the cinemas or long down that way E-mart.
If you come from the bus terminal on foot you can see it quite easily.
Zio Ricco's has a couple of fluent English speaking staff and there's a seafood dish with garlic and butter on mussels and clams and stuff that's quite good! They serve cake instead of bread with their pasta though.
Right between B&R and Zio is a new wine bar and eatery that is quite classy and surprisingly Western with minimal faux. Check it out. |

Korea can't have enough good Italian places to suit me.
As long they're not named Fresco, I'm in. |

Thank you VanIslander! Your directions were perfect!! However, we left before we received your reply. We were told the Galleria was too far, but the front gate to the Fortress was closer..... NOT!! We began asking passersby and a Korean guy, that spoke very good English walked with us to the corner, where Baskins/Robbins is located. We enjoyed our meal very much. We got business cards with the location and plan to go again tomorrow evening, as they will have live music. Thank you again... your directions are the best!!! |
