I saw it on Youtube. I knew a lot of it, but the footage was horrible to watch. |

When those men threw that live dog in the garbage truck and closed it up to compress it with the trash, I felt sick.
Movie distrubed me. |

I felt that way for a long time too. I think watching the movie again might help, and then you could try visualizing some of the most disturbing scenes when you feel like eating meat. At the same time, try experimenting with different foods you may want to try out a few of the veggie restaurants around Seoul.
Books can also be good motivatorsfor a good analysis of the moral issues, I recommend Gary Franciones Introduction to Animal Rights: Your Child or the Dog and Joan Dunayers Speciesism. For nutritional information, The China Study by T. Colin Campbell and Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman are great resources. Gail Eisnitz, Erik Marcus and John Robbins have all written exposes of the cruelty of animal agriculture. I think the more you learn and the more new foods you seek out, the less youll want to eat animals.

There are a few Korean vegetarian societies too, but Im not sure what theyve been up to lately if you find out, fill me in.
Anyway, best of luck. |
