Does putting cigarettes in the refrigerator actually help retain their freshness, or is this just a myth? I tried looking this up on Google and found nil, so maybe someone can tell me from personal experience.. |

That is true, if you keep your cigarettes in the fridge they will make you cooler. You can practice a James Dean style sauve-o stance too to add to it, and you should think about getting a leather jacket like Fonzies. Obviously you are not smoking a whole packet a day if you are asking this question. Why don't you keep them in the freezer and just take one out after special events. You will be super cool, then. |

Do cigarettes need to be kept fresh? Also, if the care of cigars tells us anything, wouldn't putting them in the fridge be the last thing you want to do? Cigars are kept in humidors, and the fridge/freezer seems the antithesis of this.
Don't have an answer obviously, just a couple of questions that occurred to me. |

Yes. Food dries up in there if it is uncovered.
Stick them in a zip lock bag with a slice of lemon. That will provide the moisture, and a pleasant citrus-y flavour! |

Eh..
So I guess I just won't put them in the fridge. Drying up is the exact opposite of what I want to happen. Thanks for the advice. |
