It was on Fox and CNN Headline News. The CNN news report's near the end of the video clip.
11 UFOs
I think my Spanish improved after watching it. |

It is unusual for a government's military to release footage of what it says are UFOs. But UFO sightings are not unusual over Mexico, and apparently the bulk of the Mexican people know this.
If you do a little searching on the Net you will find plenty of footage of group shots flying out in rura mountainous areas such as these. There also is some dramatic tape of a UFO hovering over an apartment building in central Mexico City, supposedly witnessed by lots of people.
There are always people who are going to claim that any still or movie images of UFOs are fake. Sometimes they may be right, but there have been so many over the years, and more now with the proliferation of camcorders, that it is hard to believe they are all fake, especially when there are credible witnesses.
Jaime Maussan has presented footage of UFOs over Mexico and says the witnesses are credible. He is himself a credible television journalist in Mexico, although I have to take others' word for that.
You can see one of his talks on youtube:

I know people who have told me they saw what appeared to be UFOs. Think abou it; most normal people would be reluctant to say something like this and be subject to childish ridicule, a behavior we can observe right here on this forum.
There are people who are not normal, of course, who make things up, who imagine things, who have poor judgment in interpreting things, who are crazy. For a normal person to talk about UFOs is to risk being lumped with such weirdos. So most people who have seen UFOs keep their mouth shut. They may efven doubt themselves, thinking they must have been imagining it, or dreaming. We are more likely to try to explain away inexplicable phenomena than to rush to label it in some extraordinary manner.
But I know of scientists, government officials and retired high-ranking military who have said openly they saw UFOs clearly.
From what I've read, apparently the U.S. government made a decision to cover up the existence of UFOs shortly after the crashes near Roswell AFB. What their motivation was is anyone's guess. I suspect they may have done it out of sincere concern for the wellbeing of the public. Without really understanding the UFO phenomena in depth, you cannot appreciate that. |

| So objects in the sky that can't be identified by the Mexican air force. Were they moving at an impossible speed? Were they doing impossible maneuvers? I dunno but it's going to take more than some blobs in the sky moving in a straight line to convince me it's space aliens. |

Let's not create a false dichotomy. It's not hoax or real space ship. There's the third possibility of something natural being misidentified. And (included for logical completeness) something earthly but not yet discovered.

Even very smart people are fooled by simple things. |

I have seen something that I can't explain. Abouth 40 ft off the ground and in Korea. It was going fast and silvery colour, looked like a ribbon. Not metalic, biological looking.
Now, can we test that under lab conditions? Not in a million years. Did I see it? Yes! Can I explain it? No! So I guess it didn't happen as science wants physical proof. They want a physical object in thier hands to disect or photograph a 100 times.
So, will we ever believe? I guess not. |

Strawman. Scientific skepticism wouldn't deny you saw something, that it didn't happen. Just human perception has been demonstrated to be flawed. The human brain is hard wired to see patterns out of disparate sensory data. It is better to err on the side of something real is coming at you, like a leopard, than to err on the side of random sensory data. It conferred a real survival advantage.
Phenomena we see in the sky are subject to various illusion provoking conditions. Air, clouds, heat, lighting...

Sure. If a hunk of that fell off and we had a piece of alien metal for study. That would be very strong evidence.

You are over-doing it again, Summer.
You are entitled to say you saw something mysterious and could not identify it.
You are not entitled to conclude that what you saw is evidence of an intergalactic space ship.
How do I know this to be true? Because the invisble fairy who lives in my bottom drawer and speaks only to me told me so. |

whether or not these were alien craft I dont know, but I get annoyed by one thing: Why do people talk about the idea if aliens as it it is non sense? What is really so hard to beleive about the possibility, that maybe people from a much much older civilization then us, more advanced, have mastered space travel and ended up finding our Earth in their exploration? is that really so ahrd to believe, even as discoveries mount of planets in far off solar systems, and when they launcht he even more sneistive scopes such as the inferometer, new Earth like planets will be found in addition to the 2 more earth like worlds found outside our solare system.
To be the disbelief at that possibility centers at some people's arrogant belief that human technology is the most advanced, and they could fathom some civilization being able to travel between the stars. |

Because... it doesn't make sense to believe in a particular interpretation of an event just because it may (or may not) be possible. Good physical evidence is required.
