First, I know this has been beat to the ground but I would like to get some personal feedback to some of my questions. I am thinking about taking an intensive course in Southeast Asia at the end of my contract. I am thinking about getting a job in another country (Europe?) with a year experience and a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate.
-What course did you take exactly?
-Where did you take your course? Could you recommend or red flag anything for me?
-How hard was the month long course? O-Chem hard or "I am in a foreign country and I wish I was travelling but I have to study" hard?
-Do you think you are a better teacher for it? Did you get better job offers (i know Korea doesn't really care about the certificates)?
Also, what is the most recognized certificate you can have? Are you at an advantage to take one specific course over another?
Thanks,
