Sigh...strangely I am not surprised. This has happened several million times by now. But hey, the U.S. companies shipping this stuff really is fucking things up, aren't they? |

Would this have anything to do with the U.S. being hesitant to get involved with the hostage situation?

Most certainly. The US should demand DNA tests on these banned "parts".
Meat is just the beginning. Each and every product imported under the FTA will be attacked.
Continue digging your own hole, Korea. With Korean made shovels, of course. |

We should simply make it a 50/50 deal w/ Korea tariffs and all, save a lotta hassle. |

Guess this means the FTA is finished. Guess who loses on if the FTA goes under? KOREANS. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Beef is a really strange place to draw a line in the sand. |

They know Bush is from Texas, and there are two political footballs in Texas- beef and oil. |

Damn right. Even though I'm for free trade, I want the whole agreement to get sabotaged so the koreans get hurt and are willing to enact a fair agreement. |

The US beef at Lottemart sold quite well, and I was the ONLY American in that building. Koreans like reasonable prices, too. |

I believe its choice they like. When I first came to Korea the range of food in a supermarket was rather limited. These days it is almost the same range of food as I would find in a supermarket back home.
I believe the interest is there in purchasing the items regardless of what some have said. It was the lack of opportunity that was the problem. So I hope and expect that korea will adopt many types of foodstuffs and subsequently make my shopping experience more enjoyable in the future. |

They westernize, but they don't want westerners or western products, just the ideals of mimicking western materialism.. That's all, which is very sad... |
