You also don't want to work at the one where I'm working.

Why wouldn't you want to work there? It seems like it'd be a golden opportunity to me, from what one could deduce from the information out there.

You know there are at least 6 openings. The news said that they were making 3 mil + per month (not counting what you might be able to negotiate with a hakwon desperate to find good teachers right away). That's a pretty good salary, IMO. I mean, obviously they were making enough to support a fairly expensive habit. Besides, you don't know how many students there are at the school, nor do you know how many other teachers DIDN'T get busted there.

Also, I don't know if it's really a good idea to ask other people to name the place. I've heard that libel laws in Korea are pretty strict even if you are telling the truth. Why invite more trouble when there's already been plenty to go around? I'm sure you could use your superhuman powers of deduction just by asking the places you apply how many positions they have available right away.

How did they lose 6 teachers? Was it because of the drug bust?

Sounds like it could be Kunsan University. I hear this has happened to them a couple times (entire staff just picking up and quitting). They pay a pretty high hourly like that.
