The best part is that he's giving $2.5bn to charity. That rules. I hope it's spent well and not lapped up by people who run whatever organization he gives it to.

I am not going to laugh at Paris Hilton, but she is young and made serious mistakes. I heard her speak on Larry King. I expect someone who didn't sound intelligent to be on television, but I was wrong, but she hasn't been using common sense and has been acting very spoiled and has embarassed the Hilton patriarch, and I understand his disowning of her. There are probably family members who are more deserving of the 60 million she was to get. He may change his mind and give her something. Grandfathers still have a big heart and if she changes her act he may reconsider. She better have grown up from that experience in the slammer... Anyway, she is not a poor girl either way...

Perhaps this will wake her up a bit and stop her continuing to be a complete waste of human potential.

Then again, who cares? She is quite irrelevant to life on earth.

Well....she has the notoriety, wonder if she has the brains to capitalize on it.....or at least, hire someone who does. Maybe, some kind of sex toy mail order co. w/ a nice flagship store in a posh area somewhere...could even become a franchise...Very Happy

Prediction: She'll trade on her wild child name for a bit longer and then become a born again Christian and milk that for all she can.

I read it in the gossip column of a Hong Kong newspaper today - don't know their source, though.

The thing is - it's her grandfather who is cutting her off, not her parents. They are unlikely to cut her off. And when the dear old man dies, who's to stop her parents from giving her what they think she ought to have?
