www.seoulstyle.com has some nice places listed. I went to the Buddha's Belly at Itaewon last weekend and the place and food was suberb. |

Puccini is a lovely Italian Restaurant in Gangnam. I think a lot of Koreans know it because it has been used to film dramas or movies. The food is very good. The set menus are recommended!
Website: puccini.co.kr
The other recommendation is Le petit Paris in Shinchon on the green subway line. Small and limited menu, but excellent, simple French food. It is run by two adoptees who came back to Korea from France. One cooks and the other does front of house. Their kitchen is ridiculously small, but the atmosphere is intimate and it won't break the bank. |

I would have to say ON Restaurant in Apgujeong right on the river near Dongho Bridge. Great pasta and steak (best steak I had in Seoul) but the best part is the amazing view of the river. They also have live piano. Can't get more romantic then that.
Dinner for two without wine is roughly 120,000 KRW.
Only bad part is that you have to walk out a bit to catch a cab later as it's pretty isolated.
After that I would recommend Benihana's in Cheongdam down the street from Cine City (sorry I don't recall the exact location but it's in 7-10 storey building. They have various set menus that are cooked in front of you. Great food and something different then the usual. She'll be impressed.
It's also about a 100,000 KRW for two.
Good luck. |

| You like Italian food? I went to Il Cipriano`s in Apgujeong. It was incredible. Be prepared to spend 60k or so per person. |

Tribeca is at the top of the hill that meets the main street where the Hard Rock used to be in Apgu. If you want classy to a fault, it's the place. Dinner's gonna start at about 150 000 without much drinking, and then you can slip upstairs to the lounge for martinis and watch as people occasionally come and go through a secret door behind a wall panel next to the bar. It feels very exclusive, and it makes for a very comfortable atmosphere once you're settled in. We weren't dressed to the nines, and nobody batted an eye.
Of course, it doesn't take long for the martinis to add up to another 150 000 won... |

| I hear Hooters opened up recently in Seoul. You may wish to try this famous American restaurant. |

| The Apgu Hooters is alright, but I was sorely disappointed in the Gangnam location. Aside from being kind of hard to get to , it's not nearly as cheerful as the one in Apgu. I wrote a full review of it here: http://seoulsteves.com/?p=117 |
