What clubs or bars do you like to hang out at and why do you like going there, what kind of music do they play, what kind of crowd would find there.. I want to explore Hungdae some more and check out the night scene....

I like sub zero because it's freezing cold and I like to get out of the heat.

First off, it's Hongdae not Hungdae.

I spend most of my time in Skunk Hell or DGBD for punk, hardcore, and ska shows. Third best place is the park.

I have gotten unbelievably lost every time I've ever ventured to Hongdae alone. I don't get lost easily, but there's something about that area that confuses my brain every time.

I've become addicted to Club FF. I really need to check out more places, but it's got all my music that no one else likes!

Okay, which ones have a good foreign crowd? Which one has say friendly Koreans? Which ones play a good mix of hip and hop and alternative or just rock music?

That's what I wanna know...

The ONLY legitimate reason to go to Hongdae is to drop by my old apt and leave flowers at the gate.

Clubs I know that don't specialise in hip-hop/electronic:

-DGBD
-Skunk Hell
-FF
-Minor League
-Spot
-Ssamzie Space
-WASP

WASP has a lot of metal, FF has a lot of indie rock, and the others are varying types of punk clubs. Skunk, DGBD, Spot, and Minor League are good places for foreigners mixing with Koreans.

Wierd. It's one of the 4 or 5 parts of town I could draw a map of, if I had too ... no accounting, I guess.

I lived there for half a year, and have ridden my scooter all around the area, and only after all that time has it started to make any sense to me.
