Tell us a secret that others might not know because of a place that you have worked at...

E.g. Casinos enrich air with more oxygen to keep punters more alert and willing to gamble longer. They also carefully control the air temperature to 20 degrees celcius (that's 68 F for North Americans) which also promotes awakeness.

Principal Skinner and Mrs. Krabapple were in the closet making babies and I saw them and one of the babies looked at me.

a grade 2 student had one of those kilometer counters and was proud of the 26 she had registered, and i was the one who pushed the re-set button when she wasn't looking, which made her cry when she later looked at it

Razz

(i did it because she took too much pleasure in the sadness of her classmates who had only 4 and 7 on their mileage counters... korean kids seem to want whatever other kids don't have, they dearly want others to be jealous of them)

Although the responses have been amusing, I think you guys aren't really getting the idea of the thread.

Tell us something you know because of your work/experience/etc. that others might not know...

For example...

My uncle/aunt rent the claw machines that allow you to get stuffed animals (regularly found in arcades places) and I found out that the way that thing works is that it has a timer that changes the claws strength. Therefore, if you are playing when the claw is on strong, you are almost guaranteed to get the stuffed animal. In other words, the claw can be weak for 20 min, then switch to strong for 2 min, and then to weak again for 20 min. Those times are adjustable.

Not sure if these count as secrets, but here goes:

I worked at a public library for a few years and found out that - in the Dewey Decimal Classification System - all fiction books are actually assigned a nonfiction number in the 800s.

Also based on the Dewey Decimal Classification System, the books at 000 (the very beginning) are on 'generalities' and include UFOs and aliens, while those at 999 (the very end) are on the subject of extraterrestrial worlds. Apparently old man Dewey was going for a cyclical effect?

Any ISP can track 100% what you are doing with your internet connection.

Unless you encrypt it, and even then ....
