I just called the N.T.S. to let them know that I had to pay excessively high income tax rates. I also asked the thing on the phone whether or not I'd have to pay income taxes for the housing provided to me. The whole story took perhaps one minute for me to explain to the female counselor. She was very angry because, as she said to me, she had to listen to such a long story.

I warned the thing that my complaint would take about a minute and half of her time. She said it'd be no problem. The result of my phone call was being insulted by the biatch before she hung up the phone.

It only took 5 seconds for me to read your complaint. Why did it take so long to explain to her?

Didn't you post a similar story recently?

Her ability to speak English blows and my ability to speak Han Gug Mal is also sort of crappy, eh.

Dude, do you speak Korean? If so, wanna call the chick and tell her my story? I'd pay you 65k via Western Union.

Yep, a guy named Seong was rude to me during my phone convo with the miserable twit. Are you guys relatives?

P.M. me if you're up to doing business.

R

Maybe you have a problem dealing with Korean authorities. The expression "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar", comes to mind here.

Here's the thread I was referring to.

No, I'm not related to anyone you've talked to Roch. Laughing

And, no I don't do side jobs. Thanks for the offer, though. Wink

Your warning is commendable, but your anger is misplaced. However, this is the net, vent away.

Dude or Dudette (Roch),

On these boards, you appear rude and impatient (and a wee bit of a "sweeping generalist that reiterates stereotypes"). I return in kind what I get -- nice people get nicey-nice from me, rude people get rudeness...and I am pretty sure if we ever spoke in real life that you would get rudeness returned to you.

Again, I doubt this was a "Korean" thing, I think it is a "being a jerk and so being treated like a jerk" thing.

Oh, and what is "excessively high income tax rates?" 30%? 76% 99.9589%? You strike me as the type that would get upset if the actual amount you should pay were to be deducted, rather than the under-reported tax rate some hakwons use to hide their teachers' salaries.

Did the school actually pay the tax withheld from your checks?

Try again. Sound like you got ahold of an xenophobic individual or just someone in a bad mood and not wanting to exert the extra effert in communicating in English.
