Yes, I know this is a very cheap request, but this is one based on need and the apparent scarcity of bubble wrap in Korea. While it is possible to buy plungers etc.. in any store, it appears that bubble wrap, the one thing I need in order to mail a computer is not readily available in any stores here. So, if you have any, let me know what you want for it. Or, if you know of a location in West Seoul or Bucheon that sells the stuff, please let me know. |

Post offices have it in sheets. I don't know what it's called in Korean so I just go behind the counter and help myself. |

Most Alpha stationary stores sell big rolls of it for about 5.000 won. They are often stacked outside in the front of the shop, but sometimes inside too. I'd guess that almost all big stationary stores have it. |

you can also go to the post office and get some there I just made the hand motins for wrapping and showed that I need to top off the box that I was re-packing there and the woman handed me a wad of it. I figure you could probably get a chunk of it there if you needed it. |

Apparently there isn't a common word that everyone knows for it here. I asked my Korean coworkers what it was called, and the only thing they could come up with was pong pong i. I got lots of weird looks and a couple of laughs when I asked for it and showed the hangul just to make sure I wasn't mispronouncing it. But after many searches, I went back to homeplus and found it in the stationary section. My mistake was to look for it in the area that had masking tape and protective gear for various items. |
