Came across this link on another forum. Who are the synth freaks here?

http://www.quizilla.com/users/brion/quizzes/what%20synthesizer%20are%20you%3F

I was hoping for some kind of modular beast but got the opposite:

You are a Casio Sk-1
-you are a very lo tech toy from the 80's who is treasured for its sampling capabilities
-you are a nerd
-you are extremly small
-you are a great listener
-you have a simple style and personality
-you are very cheap
-you have a great sense of humor
-you are the most fun to be with

Actually either the first or second synth I ever messed with....can't quite remember.

You are a Korg Triton
-You have multi-sampled preset sounds ranging from opera to bongos and a fancy touch screen control pannel
-you are f'cking new school
-very modern and hi tech
-you have to have the latest and best of everything
-you think you are better than everyone
-you probably like house or trance or somthing like that

I was hoping to be a Minimoog or an Alesis Andromeda...

I am a Mini-moog!

Shocking. I owned a nice old Arp Pro-Soloist and a Korg Poly-six in the 80s. But I think my favorite really was my Casio Sk-1. For a cheesy tiny sampling board it had a nice sound.

I am a Roland TB-303!!!!

-I was born small and uninspiring but became great
-I played a key role in the dance music revolution
-Altough I was originally designed to accompany solo artists and guitarists
-I have cutoffs and filters that produce the distinctively 'sqelchy' and 'sqeaky' bass sounds that typify most 'acid-y' type dance music
-I can be heard in the music of some of the most successful dance producers and groups such as Orbital, Prodigy, The Chemical brothers,Leftfield as well as Tonnes of less successful ones and anyone else lucky enough to have one
-Although longer in production, I am highly saught after and pepole often paty ridiculous prices for me

Check out classics such as theme from s-xpress, chime by orbital or 'voodoo ray' to get a taste of me in action.. Aciiiid!

I was kind of hoping for a Hammond organ, but I guess that's not actually a synthesizer, is it?

I wish I was a Juno 60. Best synth I've ever heard.

I am a Roland Juno 60, albeit from a Roland rompler like the MC-505 or the MC-909. I wish they had the TR-909 in their as it is closer to my hardcore heart. I'm thinking of picking up the MC-909 this summer anybody on here got one?

You are a Roland Juno 60
-You are an analog synth from the 80's who can pump out bass frequencies like no other
-your analog sound is treasured by the breakin' electro kids of the old school
-you are highly respected
-you aren't very high tech and don't like computers
-you can either be a leader or offer great support when you need to
-you are one of the coolest kids out there
