This might sound odd, and I suppose that's why I'm asking it: Has anybody ever been to a shop that sells a large variety of cabbage kimchi? I specifically mean a variety of the standard cabbage kimchi; I don't care about mulkimchi or the radish kimchi or any of that stuff. And I'm specifically looking for a large variety of gourmet kimchi. I realize there are panchan shops that sell different panchan. And there are grocery stores that sell good kimchi and cheap commercial kimchi. But is there a place where you can choose from a selection of different high-quality kimchi according to spiciness, fishiness, etc?
I demand kimchi satisfaction! |

Try the Kimchi museum in the COEX. I forget if you can buy, but you can sample a large variety of Kimchi. |

Yes, there's one on Dolsan-do. I was there on Sunday. |

As I recall, all the kimchi was just lacquered-over examples and the kimchi they were selling was of one variety. But I could be wrong. Am I? |
