So I just saw the end of Miss Korea 2007 and I gotta say that later on when the scandal about how much was paid to get this woman the crown breaks on Korean news I'm betting it was over 10 million won. The woman is NOT attractive by any stretch of the imagination. Just... wowsers! 
If ever there was more definitive proof that Miss Korea is a very corrupt contest she's it!  |

Implying that, basically, it IS a beauty contest? Shouldn't the winner be at least somewhat attractive?
If I want interesting and thoughtful answers, I sure as hell won't be watching a Miss Korea show. |

dude, I've gotta say the answers couldn't have been that good that a fugly like her got to be Miss Korea. Now granted, my wife said she thought the woman was good looking but lets face it that out of the final seven or so she was the fugly of the bunch. Honestly she's not hideous or anything but Miss Korea?  Ummm, yeah, sure if her parents have enough money to buy it for her.... I mean, c'mon!!!! |

Oh c'mon, you can see many many many more beautiful Korean women just by going outside once in a while. I mean honestly she's average at best but in Korean she's below average...
P.S. - My wife didn't say anything special about her personality and so I got the impression that she won the thing mainly on looks. Non-existent looks too which is what makes me go wowsers...  |

Far out Dysupes, you sound like you are on a crusade.
I admit that the girl at Homeplus whom I let talk me into several litres of shampoo because she had hot hair and looked like she knew what she was talking about, was better looking than Miss. Korea; but I still don't have a problem with her winning. |
