Can anyone recommend a hostel in Vancouver - or hotel?

I normally stay at the Cambie but don't want to spend $50 - $60 a night.

I found the "Grand Trunk Hostel" in Gastown - single room for like $27 a night or something. Sounds like it might be a schit hole, though.

There is a hostel on granville st. Forget the name, but it is right downtown. I think maybe it is an International Hostel, one of those that you need a card to get a better rate at. I lived in vancouver, so I never stayed there, but have been inside, and it is decent.
