I've been curious about this for a while, and it's always in the back of my mind when shagging. I like to think I can tell the difference, but I'm probably biased in favor of myself.

If you DO fake it, please enlighten us males as to why. Wouldn't honesty be a better option? If you're open about problems in the sack, then the both of you can work towards a solution, no?

In the past, I have faked it on more than one occasion, mostly because the guys seemed fairly insecure about the whole thing. One guy I slept with was a virgin, and was really nervous, and for one of the others, I was only the second person they were ever with, and his first girl would only do it in the missionary position. I guess me being not like that at all, kind of intimidated him. So yeah, I faked it. It's not like it wasn't enjoyable at all, just didn't hit the big O. I didn't want the first guy to feel like his first time was a failure, and for the second one, well, it was his first time doing anything but missionary, so again, I was just being nice haha.

Now I'm in a relationship with a guy I've been with for a year and a half. Don't have to fake it with him. It's a much more comfortable and relaxed situation, where we are both ok with expressing ourselves. Makes for a better time all around.

I was also much younger then as well, and felt that it was easier to fake it than it would have been to discuss it. Now I don't have any problems talking about things with my bf, but we seem to be in sync anyway, so it's not really as necessary.

I just revealed a whole lot of personal info, but hopefully it answered your question.

Yea, it is unproductive, so I don't do it anymore. But sometimes girls do it not to hurt the guy's feelings. This one guy would always finish before me or right when I was about to get mine. I never faked with him, because he made me promise I won't. I'll just tell him that I was really close, but he stopped because he finished. It is sometimes difficult for both people to finish at the same time.

is it annoying or offputting when a guy takes toooooo long?

like do you start thinking - why can't this guy get off?
