One of the funniest things I've seen in a while. NSFW.

The Howard Stern SHow has picked up on the Iron Sheik in the last few weeks and Artie has been doing great impersonations of him. "Randy Savage is a faggott... He's a gaaayy...."

Heard he is supposed to be coming onto the show sometime soon.

Btw. Don't think Iron has burned too much of a bridge with WWE. He was on the show for cameo 3-4 weeks ago.

You listened to that too? Artie's Iron Sheik impression is a classic!

Did you listen to that (real) interview when he was calling Randy Savage a fag in front of a bunch of lesbians?

"he is faaaag...he is gheeeeeey"

"well, we're also gay"

"You? No! You are not gay...and he is more the gay than even you are!"

those are AWESOME. is he proper coked out of his head or what?

it reminds me of growing up with the old WWF and waiting for the Big Boss Man and Ted Dibiase to come and that.

it never occurred to me to look for some old clips on Youtueb, but it did inspire me to change my avatar to the Bushwackers...

aaahhh Kiwi legends

Iron Shiek was on the Howard Stern Show August 2nd.

Might be NSFW- here's the rundown:

One of my fondest memories was seeing the Iron Shiek, Nikolai Volkoff and Sgt. Slaughter putting on a small match (show) in my high school gym. As a kid seeing television personalities in person was like seeing the supernatural. I was in awe of them.

Thanks for the stroll down memory lane....

One of the greatest lows in the WWF (and there were many) is how they had the Iron Sheik, apparently an Iranian, suddenly become Iraqi during the first Gulf War so that he could be the nemesis to Sgt. Slaughter.

I have seen several rants of his.

1. He ranted about B. Brian Blair, one half of the Killer Bees. He commented on how he was a faggot, and he wanted to break his back and *beep* his ass. Who's gay now?

2. Another day he ranted about Nicolai Volkoff, his old tag team partner, who once screwed him over for $5. I couldn't understand a word he said.

3. The third rant I saw, he ranted about the Ultimate Warrior. Apparently, they attended the same autograph session, and the Sheik all of a sudden started shouting obscenties at the Warrior in his crap ass accent.

I don't think anyone understands him.

It's all relative, really. Sure, we aren't talking about Shakespeare in the park, but even the WWF had some kind of standards (what standards, I really wouldn't know, but I'm sure it had some).

WWE/WWF and standards..hehhehe.....That's funny

The "gimmicks" off the top of my head in no particular order
1. Having the Big Boss Man hang himself in the middle of the ring
2. Al Snow eating his dog...haha....
3. Cryme Tyme....2 Black wrestlers whose gimmick was beating people up, stealing their stuff and selling it....Brilliant
4. The gay marriage angle with hmmm Billy Gun and some guy I can't think of at the moment.
5. The very real issue of Matt Hardy getting cheated on by his girlfriend Lita with another wrestler who in real life was his best friend. I couldn't believe they let that bleed over into the script....
6. That Arab wrestler who pissed everyone off after 9-11. What the hell was his name again?
7. Nearly every Samoan wrestler ends up being some sort of "Savage" even to this day with Umaga.....

Yeah....I know too much. I blame my dad! Embarassed Laughing
