Can anyone recommend any good books? I'm tired of teaching "conversation classes" with books that are full of grammar, reading and writing exercises. We need something focused on speaking activities with levels from about false beginner to high intermediate or advanced. I'd really appreciate any suggestions anyone has. Thanks. |

I've found both Interchange (the NEW new one) and Headway to be pretty good. |

Not a textbook, but http://www.breakingnewsenglish.com/
has some good conversation material. Not really for kids, but you can find some things an adapt it to younger people.
I used it for Uni students a few years ago and it was pretty good. |
