Can someone please tell me the English pronunications of the following words:
pencil
restroom
Any other words absolutely necessary for teaching kids 8-15?
I've only taught adults in Korea and teenagers at Duke University (from Taiwan and Japan) before.
My new boss thinks I know more Korean than I do! - So, if you could please give me these pronunications and a few more, I would REALLY appreciate it!
Thanks in advance for your help.

The dictionary online is great. Thanks so much.
Other words for use with elementary, middle school and high school students? Having only taught adults who spoke some fairly decent English, I really feel at a loss here. Thanks so much for your help!

shi-ka-ro - - noisy
jo-yong-he-hay - - be quiet
ear-ee-wa - - come here
ji-geum - - now
ba-lee ba-lee - - hurry up
ba-root op-si kul-ji-ma - - don't be rude
Are some gems from my ecc days, but only used as a joke. Aren't you supposed to be teaching English? |

Of course I'll be teaching English. But like I said in my original post, my boss thinks I know more Korean than I do, and I just wanted a little help with some words that would come in handy. When I taught Chinese and Japanese teenagers at Duke University one summer, I didn't need to use the same words as I will need to use with the younger children. When I taught younger kids in Sunday school, they were all native speakers and I didn't need to know extra words.
But now from your post (even if it was a joke), I have some more new words wo learn. So thank you for your help.
