I want another M. Scorsese 70's/80's mob flick w/ Joe Pesci.
I want another O. Stone flick based on his experiences in the Vietnam war.
I want another "Transformers"! Blood and gore and nasty fighting words - Transformers was great, but it could have been BADASS! (oh yeah, leave the product-placement overkill out of this one).
Another remake of "Mutiny On the Bounty" would be cool - always loved the original and the story in itself.
A remake of "Citizen Kane" - that would be interesting, but touchy ground, and the critics would have a field day.
Bill Bryson's "A Walk In the Woods" would make a very funny and entertaining movie (I envision it "Sideways"-in-the-woods).
John Irving's "A Prayer For Owen Meany", done right of course, would be a fantastic movie! |

I want more films like Once made by all of my favorite musicians.
My twelve year old self wants to see the movie version of The Giver, which has been announced for years and never actually happens.
I want someone to make a film version of The Road and make up a reason why the Earth is on fire so I can stop wondering.
I want Michel Gondry to make another movie that can compare to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. |

| How about a SW movie based on some of Han's adventures before EpIV? If they did it well, I mean, not like EpI-III. |

| An epic movie on Genghis Khan, done right, would probably need to be a trilogy. |

I am a Star Wars fan, too. Would like to see Star Wars reimagined for adult audiences (Lucas gets to consult but nothing more) -- kind of like what the James Bond people seem to be doing by starting again at Casino Royale and making Bond darker; or like what we are seeing with Batman Begins.
Darker and more powerful, and more human Jedis, where more than one or two break rules and/or fall to the Dark Side. Let Han Solo be more of a badass smuggler like he was in episode four; not warm and fuzzy and in-it-for-the-cause like he was in Jedi. But let him die in Darth Vader's first freezing attempt and then let Chewbacca hunt Fett down and kill him to avenge it.
Loose the Ewoks and Jar-jar Binks -- and every other kiddie sop. Make it less absolute "good" vs. "evil." Make it more ambiguous.
Start with episode three's material and get into the politics of coups and countercoups. Let the rebels win in the end but leave Luke's status hanging -- have him kill Vader and the Emperor and let it be known that he probably had to cross over to the Dark Side to do it. Then leave it hanging. Loose the happy ending and the dancing, etc.
Stuff like that. |

I'd like to see a love story that takes place in Hiroshima before, during, and after the bomb is dropped, with graphic war violence. Maybe similar to Stone's "World Trade Center," in which the enemy isn't really shown at all.
Either that or the American occupation of Iraq told from the Iraqis' perspective. |

I suppose Robotech: The Movie. 'Course I'd have to play the lead role as the young hotshot pilot.
But the storyline, characters, mecha and fighters, everything will have to remain the same. I think it would make for a great action/drama. |

From television, I'd like to see a Deadwood movie, a 24 movie, a Sopranos movie, and another South Park movie.
From literature, I'd like to see a brutally violent true to the book Tarzan of the Apes movie, and an Ender's Game movie.
From Eddie Murphy, no more horrible children's movies. |
