Many people book through adventure Korea. I booked through something like go'n'see Korean. Google it. Most tours are divided into to categories: Weasteners and Koreans. The main difference being weather there is an English speaking guide. I went with a Korean group. luckily there was someone else on the tour who could speak Korean and English as the WHOLE trip is organized down to the last detail.
The mountain is as beautiful as they say. Some of the hiking is quite arduous. Go this Autumn and you wont be disappointed no matter what the price. Which leads me to my final point: It's very expensive. |

The price will be highly dependant on when you go and how soon you book your ticket. It's much cheaper to go as a group and share a room. |

Been there done that, don't waste your money. It's restrictive and there are better, less expensive places to visit. |

I went through Adventure Korea. I didn't find it too expensive.
Good tour guide. Very organzied and very Korean, but you have some free time.
It is restricted, but it is also North Korea! I wouldn't expect it NOT to be. |
