When is it suppose to open up?

Anyone know any inside scoop on it? What it's suppose to be all about...it it in name only, or will they be selling merchandise and burgers and the whole nine yards? I'd be up for just a 100% bar with live music myself.

Last spring it was said to be opened this summer, but nothing much is happening. They should had never closed the old one down until they had the new one ready.

What humongous world city doesn't have a HRC? Seoul. Everywhere else has them, especially where there is a large international airport nearby. Well, Korea is not a touristy kind of place, but rather is a business zone and nothing more so come here to make your money and then fly elsewhere to experience the finer sides of life. The problem is having to stay so long at a time. I would rather get in and get out and go enjoy life like people are in most other parts such as Thailand, Cambodia, USA, India, Europe, etc. Too bad I am not one of the businessmen or senior engineers where they fly in for maybe 2 weeks and leave for the world, often ending up working in 15 to 20 countries a year.

The grand opening at the new Itaewon Hard Rock should be sometime in October, according to the lady I talked to from the phone number posted at the construction site.

If it follows the layout of Limelight (the bar that was in there before), it won't be all that big, and the bar would be central.

Looking forward to being there for the opening.

PS. I think you can still buy merchandise at the Apkujong location.

I wonder if it will be as slimy of a pick-up joint as Limelight was, complete with people doing speed in the restroom, and hookers who only revealed they were hookers after they danced with you all night and stopped you at the door to tell you they wanted money for sex? Used to stand and play pool, then watch that one happen.

Ooohh... that sounded realllly bad...

Ahh.... my memories of limelight.
