I use the second one quite a bit. Their initial reaction is to start to question what it was that I said and then it sets in that it was understandle Korean and they quickly look away.

*edit: I was refering to Ilsanman's post

Probably the easiest, rudest way of saying what you want to say is:

뭘봐? (Something like "Mwol Bwa?")

뭘 꼬라보냐? Maul Go-rah-boh-nyah?

It's a slang for "What'chu starin at?"

What about "watch where the**** you're going!" I have plenty of opportunities to use this phrase each day, given my 40-minute scooter commute. Very Happy

I asked a coworker and he said something about opening your eyes, but when he said it in Korean it was so fast all I could understand was 눈.

Human beings are born with eyes. I look at a lot of people when I'm walking. People who are different from the rest will get looked at longer. Of course staring too long is rude but looking, and even looking for an extended time, at someone who looks different is a normal human reaction.

I got stared at in new hampshire, vermont, georgia. I walked into a Friendly's restaurant in a town in Georgia, USA and everyone turned to look at my family. They were long stares too.

An extended look is fine. I don't even care if kids flat out stare. I only ever say anything if it's an adult.

The translations you asked for most definately give that 'f u' feeling because of the plain form. Maybe people will laugh. Maybe shocked. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when you say it.

Korean Man, what's the root of this verb - 라보다
What does the 꼬 part mean?

About the only time I feel stared at is in an elevator. Although there was the one drunk 55 year old ajusshi that purposely stood at the urinal next to me and kept looking over at my huge white hunk of man meat. If I could speak Korean I might have said "careful, it can smell your fear".

I get the sense, however, it's better if people like me and many users here don't learn Korean Smile I fear what I'd quip.

Did you ever have a father pull his kids around the supermarket so they could look at you, for about five minutes? Has happened to me here more than once. And I bet those people didn't make moronic attempts to speak Korean to you. I'll also bet they didn't make that retarded sounding baboon hoot that I get all the time here.

Uh... I'm not sure. '꼬' usually has a negative feeling to it, I think.

People, especially ajummas, stare at me when I'm walking on the street. I almost feel obligated to stare back at 'em. When I stare back, most of them would look away but a few will keep staring at me. What are they thinking when they stare?
