My wife and I just put 20 million won as a deposit for our apartment in Suwon. The owner told her it could be bought for 90 million won. I was thinking of taking a loan out from the bank for this. What is your opinion ?

Might want to check with the bank if you're not Korean. When we bought our apt, they would only give me 15,000,000 won in loans (I'm foreign and teach at a Uni here) but if your spouse is Korean and working they could probably get a bigger loan in their name. I think others on this board may have been able to get larger loans, so you might want to check with your bank and see how much you can get before proceeding...

Good luck! Hope it all works out well for you!
