Yes, I know soju is vile but I still want to bring some back home to Canada in a couple weeks. How many little bottles can I bring? Are suitcases rigorously checked in Korea or Canada? What happens if I bring too many?
Any experiences? |

My advice - and this is what I did successfully on a visit home to England - is to put a crate of the smaller plastic bottles in your suitcase. |

When I came back I brought a good deal of soju as gifts for freinds ( it is a taste of Korea and it does make a good punch). Not a problem, then again I was coming back to the US not Canada. You don't have to put into little bottles or anything else. Just pack it well and if you are in luck it won't break. Actually none of the many bottles I have packed away have broken and I have never even been questioned. No, I lie. Last month I came back from Poland and Holland with beer and vodka packed away- 1 case of beer and 5 bottles of vodka. I declared them and the customs officer asked if the beer was any good. |
