One of my students gave me a Lotto ticket. How do I check if I won?
What kind of jackpot do they offer? It sure would be the best X-mas gift ever, if I win. |

If you won the big prize, I wonder how you would cash it in. Would they give it to a foreigener, or would they find a way to disqualify you. |

Some questions regarding the lotto.
Where do I do it?
How do I do it - the rules?
How much is it?
How often is it? |

Where: any store that has the word lotto in the window.
Rules: choose 6 numbers of 45. Also can get automatics picks too.
Price: 1000 won per board.
Frequency: Once a week on Saturdays around 7pmish (i think)
Comments: have about a 1:7 million chance of winning. Jackpots are usually around 10 billion won and around 5 people win every week. Yes, even a few foreigners have won too. I remember some Nigerian winning a few years back. Personally, I think they should boost the total amount of numbers from 45 to 49 or 51, which would reduce the number of winners by half or more (statistically). |
