This site has some good advice for newbies, I think. Check it out BEFORE you come to Korea or soon if you just got here recently.

The labor contract from MoonKkang English School is less than stellar. Do you work at MoonKkang English School? A majority of the information on the link you provided forum members with pertains to the school. It appears as if you're a recruiter, employee or on the management team. In the future, advertise in the appropriate forum.

Agreed Spliff!

There are three foreigners in management positions at this school. What's the turnover rate at this school like?

It is NOT spam. I do NOT work there. But I think some of the stuff they say about working as an ESL teacher, etc., is good. That's why I posted the link. By now you guys should know that I am not a recruiter, not a hakwon owner, not trying to steer people to the school at which I work (which is small - I am the only native speaker at my school, which is in Ulsan in Samsandong.

I have taught here for years. However, anyone who is a new teacher with no prior experience, the documents listed are quite helpful. It doesnt matter if they are geared towards that particular school, there is plenty of universal information that anyone new could use.

It never fails to amaze me that so many people fail to understand the true purpose of Dave's site. I'll try to explain one more time: This site is supposed to be a refuge for foreigners trapped all day long with people who can't understand their wit, repartee, cynicism and sarcasm.

If people wanted to actually pass on useful information in an effort to help other people, they should post on the Salvation Army or Red Cross sites.

Sheesh.
