Anyone seen these robot android things Japan and Korea are building that look like gorgeous ladies?

Japan and Korea are looking to produce these for highly specified functions such as broadcasting, customer service, teacher, bartender, servant, laborer, and the list goes on and on... I understand billionaires the world over seek to refine this invention and put them into place just as they seek commercial space travel. I want a real C-3PO unit, but I am not a billionaire as these units will cost pretty penny.

To compete with Japan, the Korean government had one built called, "Ever-1", that I seen in real life at a robot and technology convention here, but Japan leads with research and innovation in making these new fake humans. Japans universities and companies are innovating new technologies for sure. Honda motor company has an incredible robot called, "ASIMO" that took around 20 years to refine it's great walking and talking abilities to what it is today. Sorry, Fords' robot sucks.

that's pretty amazing when you realize the machine is free-standing and balances itself.

how far off are they from building one that can actually interact with a person...like have a conversation of sorts?

Yeah, ASIMO looks kind of like a retard child. Never really seen why people get so excited over him (and Asimo is Honda, right?)

This android is freaking impressive. All they need are new materials to form skin and allow for more dexterity, then I will be really, really impressed.
