So the wife and I want visit the States for Christmas vacation and I guess there's a considerable check-list of things that we need to check and double-check in order to make it past US immigration, which I've heard is not easy for US citizens these days.
I know I need a multiple-entry visa to satisfy Korean Immigration. Is there anything else I need from those assholes or is that it?
My wife already has a 10-year work visa for the States that she insists is beyond question, but I'd just like to call the embassy just to be sure it can be used for this trip and that it's still valid. Even though we're just visiting I've heard that the State Department has really revamped their methods for making travel an irritating ordeal for US citizens and visitors alike. What exactly do we need?
Do we have to show proof of our marriage even though we're just visiting and have return tickets (will have)? What documents will we need?
What other things will I need to know to run this gauntlet at the airport that my family is warning me about so many months in advance? |

If they know you are married they may cause serious problems and make you get a spousal (K3) visa.
Just a heads up. |
