I've been sequestered away, at a teacher's summer camp. So haven't been able to do much with my resource site. Sept. I will have a new resource site with better searching and reliability. Will use my holiday time to work on that.

Still, i've managed to put up new resources for teachers.

Many new videos and a great place to get teacher friendly videos without having to search through the entire universe....
Click Videos for the Classroom and More videos for the classroom (too many videos to list).

I've put up a reading folder. I will upload much more material there when I get home so look for that later. But for now, I wanted to address the dire need of many teachers for phonics materials. Here you will find a complete phonics friendly program. No need to go anywhere else. You will find an example and then a zipped file with many more of that level.

Newly formatted and more dynamic powerpoint games added. New and Improved stuff. Top 5, Price is Right , Spot the Differences.

You will have to be a member of my teaching resource community for access. EFL CLASSROOM 2.0 Easy to register. go to the link below. The reading folder will also soon be for members only. But I urge you to join, talk about teaching materials. Lots there already but in Sept. it will be a bigger, sponsored community for teaching professionals. Also, I hope people from Dave's will participate in the podcasts I have planned, some with very noted professionals in the EFL/ESL field as well as actual Korean teachers. I'll post times here.

Many more resources added to the teaching folder and others....

Belated thanks here.
I downloaded battlehsip ppt for the class to use.
Today I used it for the first time (5/6 grade elementary summer camp).

The kids loved it, and I gave a candy when a student finds treasure.
They get to pick a square after answering a vocab. question of that day s lesson, or about spelling or description about any of the many flashcards about the room (gives the less advanced students a chance too!).

I have also used the flashcard powerpoints, which are colourful and amusing. The kids love them too.

So, a much belated thanks for supplying so much on the esnips site.

Keep up the good work^^
Very Happy

Thanks for the feedback Nobbyken!

Lots in there and you just have to browse and take the time to see what you can use for your own class/level.

Yes, those bells and whistles go a long way with student motivation. The big wheel and the car/horse counters also help with keeping score and motivating....

I'd also look at the battleship handouts in the back of the teaching folder. They are great for use in pairs. I model whole class with them asking where my ships are in teams. Team keeps on asking if they keep on hitting. If they destroy a whole ship they get double points for that ship. Once you play whole class, they know how to play and go at it like gangbusters. I even used to have dividers made of cardboard so it was like the original battleship.

I'll be adding a Toys R us price is right game. I want something for the young kids, in dollars not won. That should be cool, half done...

I'll also make my whole collection available to EFL Classroom members soon on our media fire account . Just go there and download whatever you want, from the thousands of materials.
