hey people i was hoping i could get some ideas about my situation. perhaps it's better to just outline it and go from there.
well u c i'm in korea right now, and my girlfriend is coming near the end of october. we're both looking for jobs, but don't particularly want to work at exactly the same place; that would be a little too sordid we think. so the thing is this: we want to live together (the type of sordidness we believe we're into...) in a place that's not a tiny shoebox (maybe a boot box...?).
what do u think are the options?? do i need to find a place by myself, hope the key money etc isn't too much, and then hope the housing allowance from our jobs cover the costs, or are there other alternatives? how does one go about finding such apartments; if i secure a job with a good boss will s/he be likely to help me greatly with this?
i'm a bit worried about not being able to afford a huge amount of key money right now. what do u guys think about such a scenario? |

You know if both of your respective schools are paying for half of your apartment its a win-win situation in their books. I'm not an expert, but from what I know of hagwon bosses if you find a scenario where they'll be saving money in hiring both of you through housing costs then generally they'll be all for it.
If they already own accomodations though then it might be a little touchy. |
