Can anyone let me know the cheapest way of phoning the UK from within Korea.

I'm sure that I read a thread recently that stated that it's cheaper to call using a mobile rather than a landline, which seems odd.

Can anyone clarify this and maybe let me know what you're paying for your phone service.

Thanks in advance.

Barring Skype, it's best to get an international calling card.

Skype is best, followed by either an international calling card and a landline, or a cell phone and one of those discount access numbers. There are signs up about them in subways and the like. If you've got a contract phone, you'd get ads for them in with your bills too.
