Interesting read.
I haven't really got a handle on this issue yet - separating the spiritual truth from the dogma is tricky.
That abortion causes distress to the baby's spirit is plausible (assuming the spirit is a separate entity that enters and leaves the body).
What I wonder is at what point the spirit enters the body. Conception? Some time after?
I know there are different ideas out there, but I haven't examined them closely.
From a strictly materialist point of view, I have no problem with early abortion.
The idea that I would be interfereing with some greater plan by messing up the intended incarnation of some spirit for selfish reasons does make me uneasy. |

Here is another article on the website. In it he makes the point that the abortion issue in Korea is different than the issue in the US. In Korea "women are the victims of the lax attitude towards abortion."
The pro-choice movement in the US seems to only be concerned when
women are pressured into not getting abortions but not when they are
pressured into getting them. |
