Are they down on you for going to Korea? Mine were too until I told them I could save money up to buy a car back home since having a decent car is absolutely necessary in making life happen in the USA. It was not a huge surprise or anything too new in my case as I had worked abroad for 3 years before.
Tell them you're saving money and doing something you really want to do and that you won't be here for too long. |

| I could never call my parents stupid on a public forum. I love them soooo much and they've done so much for me. We can all be annoying sometimes, but my goodness, these people gave you life for goodness sakes! |

This is correct. Been here 10+ years. Parents sometimes do and say the stupidest things and it's really bloody annoying. |
