This is the Walk Across Korea for korean Orphanages man. Comendable, highly so but something is slipping. He seems to be straining his welcome in Korea. He's caught in a child porn sting. I don't know what to make of it.

It is very unfortunate that these people within the governing ranks
have tried to write a story showing that Ms. Lee of the Hwasung Baby Home
is a person who fell in love with an American volunteer, used him for
his connections to the former Mayor of Seoul to pressure her adoptive
mother to pass on ownership of the orphanage to her once the 94 year old
owner has passed away! With the police foolishly saying, ' Don't call
her! ' I answered, ' No problem! My phone number is blocked anyway! '
This is the second time in two years that these people have run around
playing these games and arresting me! Imagine while taking your finger
prints for the second time and asking, ' Are you going to match these
prints to the public telephones which have been broken again this year
in this area over the past few days? Again the eyes look down without
response!
Me, ' Are you going to check the records and see why I am being sent
messages from the U.S. Army on my cellular phone under numbers of
friends and Ms. Lee? '
Police officer, ' No! We cannot! '
So then, ' Why am I being harassed? '

when I originally tried to get out of the political situation in which I
was pulled into. Enjoy the fact that I the fight ended with the most
successful answer to life. That was the pressure from our efforts and
willingness and acceptance to form, ' Adoption Day, May 11 ' !

This is Ron Fowler and must make an acknowledgment that there is not much I can do at the moment to help anyone get involved volunteering.
Over the past few months I have been trying to get out of the harassment which has been thrown my way from some entity within the S. Korea Government and the U.S. forces Korea. However, this effort to escape the harassment has failed only as it has continued to follow me as I trek.
It is unfortunate that these few have so much influence to effect the lives of others as the members of the Y-Heesun Volunteer Support are for the most part very kind hearted and given towards the needs of the children in need.
I tried to get out of Seoul this weekend but was not able to due to the reasons that someone within the government put more child pornography on the computer with was in the Motel room in which I stayed. It was the third time this has happened.
This sort of action is very disturbing and it was difficult to continue the trek and so, I just returned to Seoul and faced more harassment.
I'm not looking for sympathy in writing these emails. However, this information needs to get out to as many people as possible so as we can help to end this mess.
It is placed on the front page of the www.yheesun.com website and I recommend that you consider strongly before reading. I am hoping that this mess will be cleaned up by years end as this is politically motivated.

| No, I have never met him. If he wants to help kids, he should help kids. I'm not interested in orphanage power stuggles or the police blotter. |

This guy's been infamously involved with attempting to adopt Korean kids for some time - and it's been evident for the same amount of time that he's got some mental problems.
When I first got to Korea I thought It'd be a worthwhile thing to volunteer to teach orphans. I came across this guy online and signed up to do just that. Then the barrage of incomprehensible emails that seem fixated on conspiracies and victimisation... of him, naturally.
Seems he's been thwarted in his attempts to adopt kids - and even from this distance it seems like the relevant authorities have made the right choice. I think he's dealing with schizophrenia, or something similar.

I used to get normal emails from the guy when I wanted to volunteer. Never got any response to the email requesting info on how to volunteer.
I think the man is disturbed. Not just goofy but has some serious mental issues. I hope he doesn't get hurt or worse. I don't think he bad guy just sick and needs some medical attention. I hope he gets it before someone gets hurt.

| Seems like a freak...lots of freaks in Korea. He should be deported back to his home country before he commits a crime and ends up in a Korean jail. The fact he mentions child porn being "found" on his computer makes me think he is a risk to children anyway. |
