anyone know of any bars in seoul where I might be able to catch a couple of the games this weekend? I used to have MLBTV but it was unreliable and I don't want to pay for their services anymore. Anyways I think the first game is at about 4:30 AM sat. and it would be a lot more fun to watch it at a bar with a bunch of people than in my appartment. thanks and go cards! and my prediction--- 3-1 cards, for the series and the next game. |

if you're lucky, they will stream the game live on naver.
last year it was yahoo korea, this year it's naver that gets free streaming of MLB games (but only select games). i think it's three games a day.
yes it's korean commentary for the most parts. |

If you've used MLB.tv in the past, as have I, try watching the games once they're archived. There's some glitch in the system that lets me watch them archived from my computer (unless everyone can watch them archived, that'd be sweet), but not live. This works for me, because I'm at school during the actual time of night games anyway.
When I am home for games, I have a Slingplayer password from a friend back home, but it's hooked up on an average internet connection, and it's not very good quality. It's still nice to get home announcers on FSN Wisconsin, though.
Thanks for that sweep, by the way. We're reeling, but at least we (temporarily?) stopped the bleeding yesterday. At least we still have legitimate MVP and ROY candidates... |
