| Is it hard to get down there? Are people still around on the island during this time?? Do hotels raise their rates during this upcoming vacation? |

I went in 2003. Plane/ferry tickets might be an issue. Check asap.
There are people around and most stuff is open. I stayed in cheap yeogwans and minbaks so prices weren't really an issue. They were still the regular 20 000 a night or whatever. |
