Those of you who are worried about filipinos, or people from SE Asian countries taking your jobs for less money, stop worrying.
Here's at least one Korean business that advertises they DO NOT EMPLOY speakers of English from SE Asian countries.
Whether or not you believe this is a horrible form of discrimination is irrelevant here. The point is that Koreans are disgusted enough with SE Asian speakers being "passed off" over the telephone as something else that at least one school feels there is money to be made off of advertising that they don't employ them.
Just because a hogwan boss CAN hire a SE Asian speaker for peanuts does not mean Koreans want that.
