Hi all,
I've just arrived in Korea on a tourist visa, and am planning on staying here until the end of the calendar year, though I might stay longer. (heading out to Japan on a visa run in November) - and so am looking for some way of supporting myself while I'm here. I'd planned on volunteering on an organic farm (the WWOOF program), which I've done before, but on checking out the updated lists they seem to have seriously downsized and there probably won't be a suitable placement available. So, does anyone know of vounteer projects that offer food and board (I'm vegetarian, which might be an issue) within reasonable distance of Seoul or Yongin? I've done a lot of searching, but can't find anything really suitable - most projects are either very short, very long, don't take British people, cost a lot of money or are at the other end of the country. Any help or advice would be much appreciated! |

maybe you can become a buddhist monk for awhile, they're vegetarian. seriously though, maybe a temple could help you, but i'm not sure how you would go about finding out... |
