I'm looking for a Brita water filter. Let me know if you have one you'd like to sell. Thanks. |

You can get them at most pharmacies, or buy them at Homever, or even Emart I believe. |

I'm about to leave the states. Should I buy them in America or is it just the same price in Korea? |

Not sure, but I think Britas only filter out some minerals and chemicals to help it taste better. Not sure if I would trust Brita with my drinking water safety here.
You can rent a water cooler if you buy bottled spring water for $5/5gallons |

I drink Brita water all the time. Maybe it's different in the states? If I boil the water after filtering with Brita in Korea, will it be drinkable then? I'm somewhat paranoid, because this one guy said showering and brushing his teeth with Korean water gave him scars and pimples. It sounds somewhat ridiculous. He even thinks I need a shower water filter as well. |

umm, yeah, the water here is not the same as the states.... Brita will not filter out the things that need to be filtered out for it to be safe to drink. If you boil the water it will be safe, but then you are spending a lot of money on gas to boil all the water you are going to drink.
Do yourself a favor..... First, don't bring a brita!!! Second, when you get here, have your school set up a water despenser and water delivery. Then you always have cold and hot water and don't have to drag bottles of water home.... |
