Good soundtrack.

The information itself is nothing new. 'Shift Happens'. Ummm...that was true in my grandmother's time.

Those are all Ray Kurzweil's predictions in "The Age of Spiritual Machines" and "The Singularity is Near". If you find it interesting, give those books a read.

Well worth your time and written by someone famous in the field. Bill Gates swears by the former.

Yea, I found this on YouTube.com a while back and found it interesting. It does hint at when China and India are fully developed, they will be the greatest global super powers, but suffer horrible tragedies due to not enough work and natural resources for all those people to live comfortably.

I am not sure about the part that says China will be the largest English speaking nation soon, because they don't seem to have it like Korea. If they invest more money into English education and offer adequate pay to western teachers, then they will be on the role quite quickly.

DID YOU KNOW.....
That 40 million Chinese men can't get married because they aborted all their daughters.

DID YOU KNOW.....
That China is so polluted and has so many people that they have serious problems with getting access to clean drinking water.

DID YOU KNOW.....
That America's baby-boomer problem is nothing compared to what China is about to go through with their own greying population and lack of young people.

DID YOU KNOW......
That China has the most polluted cities on Earth and that the average Chinese city dweller will probably die by the age of 42.

If you're interested on how this will affect education, culture and society, read Neil Postman's The End of Education.

You can order it on Whatthebook here in Korea.
