It's only on about two screens in the states, so I doubt it's getting much action in Korea...but has anyone else seen Atonement? Read the book?
Aside from the historical factor, it didn't seem to be my type of movie...but I couldn't ignore the buzz and good reviews after a while.
I adored the movie but I feel like it was nearly ruined by the ending. Not by the twist, but the matter in which it was done. I'm curious if anyone has read the book and can share how the ending was written.
Regardless of the end, there are some pretty amazing cinematic moments in the film. It felt very classic, the colors and timing of the sound was incredible and it definitely deserves the buzz its been receiving. |

Saw the movie a couple of days ago, in torrent form, and am reading the book too. The movie is good enough that I'll pay to see it when it comes, and the book is wonderful |

My wife and I watched it last week. I think it's overrated. It's really long. It drags a bit in the middle. It's definitely a chick movie. I'd give it a 6.5/10. |

I watched it the other day and strangely it didn't seems so long. The landind scene I thought was superb; it was interesting how chaotic everything looked atfter the beach was taken. Nevertheless, Is it wrong that I watched it purely to see Kiera Knightley in soaking wet, how do you say? Underclothes? |
