Okay, now that I got your attention, I have a question. Let's say, that while in Iran, I took a couple videos of "sensitive" sites that I shouldn't have taken videos of. Now, when I load them on to my computer it says they are corrupt and they don't work. Does anybody know how I can fix these files? I took 21 short videos while there and now 5 of them don't work. Please help me out. And just to let you know what the video is of, well it's one of Iran's "nuclear enrichment plants".

Sure, send the files over to the CIA, and they will get those videos up and running in no time.

Try using different video software when transferring to 'puter. Nero, Roxio, Muvee, MS Moviemaker.....they're all 'acquire-able' Wink on the net.

I doubt this...they seem pretty slow these days.

Try VLC player. I've used it a lot for files with odd extensions. If it doesn't work the first time, you may have to search around in the options menu.

It would be good to know a few more details, but the "use a different player" ideas may be correct.

You made the videos from your camcorder or your digital camera? Where were they before? You transferred them to your comp from the camera (I guess?) and 5 don't work? Try re-transferring them...they may well be corrupt if there was some kind of transfer glitch....or did you delete them? How did you transfer them...I guess from firewire or USB?

What is the file extension? .AVI?
