I have this strange idea about going to southern Africa to clandestinely farm cucumbers. I have been hydro growing vegetables here for three seasons and I have the system pretty much perfected. The materials are minimal with a roll of plastic sheet being the most important.
The whole thing goes up like a long pup tent. Cukes grow well, I can harvest with 90 days.
I'd like to try Mozmbique but I'm open to suggestions.
There's no digging, water use is minimal and I don't need good land.
Technically I'm worried a about bugs and marketing
Administratively I'm worried about bribes, violence, parasite infestations, kidnapping etc.
What do you think? |

Why not farm in your home country?
Elaborate on this for me. |

Is it that profitable?
Even if you have next to no overheads, who are you going to sell it to on such a scale that you can live off it?
Are you from South Africa but living in Korea now? |
