I'm thinking that Gangnam might have something happening on Thursdays, altho for the most part it's on on Wednesdays and weekends. Where would you rather party? Hongdae, Gangnam, Apgugeong or Itaewon?

It's at my apartment with me and myself and I and the Hite too. Smile Well, I could go out to a foreigner bar as hagwon teachers have a blackjack tournament, but not interested. I think I would go to that foreigner bar more if they had foreign beer on tap. I am guessing Thursday night is a big party night for those who work in the 3PM to 10M hagwons anywhere there is a foreigner bar. I know Tuesday and Thursdays are party nights here just as Saturdays are, but no night seems to be hopping crazy with super loud jams like common in America and European scenes. It's just chilled out 7 night a week beer drinkers here, though I don't drink that much. If you're in Seoul, Itaewon has it going on, but be prepared to spend Won like it ain't nothing but a worthless thing that doesn't matter anything to you as it's expensive to drink good beer such as Erdinger and eat ymmy foods like pita pizzas and tacos. 3 Alleys pub is good, I partied there 3 weeks ago on a Thursday and it was a full house with a comedian doing trivia and I had a great time. Best night out in 8 months of Korea so far.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I'm more of a clubber/bar hopper than anything else. I'll prolly check out Itaewon, or go to Hyewa as it has some decent clubs there.

3 allleys pub eh? I might check that out. I wouldn't mind a few laughs =)

We have decent clubs in Hyehwa? My goodness where?
I live in Hyehwa, love the area/bars/etc..... but are you sure you don't mean Hongdae?

Very Happy

Nothing beats a late night at The Old Town Seoul in Iteawon. Maybe check out a couple of Juicy bars and end up still partying at twelve noon at the Debute club. Then head over to the Seoul pub and talk to the old war vetran.

I pray you didn't end up anywhere that had too much of that sideways out of tempo house that turns downward just when you think it might be hands in the air time.

That would have been terrible.

Actually, I went to Hyewa anyways.

Went to a place called Boom Box, and since it was an off-night, I just socialized with the people who work there. Cool people, and good setup for the next time I go there Wink

Next time I'll prolly go to Itaewon, or maybe go back to Hyewa. howz the bar scene in Hyewa?

Quite nice, lots of choices, many cheap places to drink and eat. There are a number of us who do the rounds on and off, off and on. Send me a PM if you feel like coming along. We're all mid-late 20's more or less.

Cheers.
