My school runs XP on our computers and I am thinking about getting a Macbook. Are there any document compatibility issues if I use Microsoft for Mac (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc) and then open the document or whatnot on my school's XP system? Your help is appreciated. Thanks

It's all about the versions / year released. I use a Powerbook G4 with MS Office for Mac (2004) edition. my school computer uses an older version (2003, I think) of MS office. I can open files from my work computer on my Mac, but not vice-versa.

Might I assume then, that if my office XP is at least 2004 version or newer, that I should be ok?
