I admit, I hate china.

lets dissect China. Plug your noses!

1. Chinese writing. Some consider this worth studying. It isnt. Its about the most backwards writing system ever devised. It must have been devised by children too as most of it are basically rudimentary hieroglyphics. The worst thing about it is that its totally useless in the modern world. Try applying it to electronics, genetics. Its useless.

2. Chinese food is about the most disgusting crap Ive ever had to eat. And I didnt even touch any of the truly disgusting things. But perhaps Chinese eating habits can give us a clue as to why China produces garbage that kills consumers in other countries. Garbage in, garbage out. Would YOU eat spiders and c*ckroaches? The Chinese do.

3. Why cant the Chinese produce something that doesnt posion or kill consumers? have they failed to grasp this simple concept? Consumer goods shouldnt be lethal.

4. Chinese people. Just about the rudest, most unrefined bunch of country bumpkins in the world. I wouldnt trust one with anything of mine, it would probably be stolen.

This argument might hold up if we still engaged in Latin and Greek study, but English without this background loses out to Chinese all the time:

Pseudocyesis - 假孕
Apogee - 远地点
Entomology - 昆虫学
Malacology - 軟体動物学 (Japanese term)
Myrmecology - 蚁类研究,蚁学

So how many of those does the average person understand? With hanja/hanzi/kanji you read the first as false pregnancy, the second as far location point, the third as bug study, the fourth as soft-bodied animal study, and the last as ant study.

Breaking down their language is neither here nor there, and their food is their own, I like some of it.

I have a problem with their absolute rape of all that is beautiful in this world, from the hunting of sharks for their fins, to the wantant pollutiing of their environment, the greed and self interest that seems to exist in China is surely unparralleled. The way they kill rare and beautiful creatures (and the way they kill them) for some ridiculous supposed libidinal boost, the way they built huge dams with no regard for the consequences for any of their geographical neighbours, Tibet, poisonous products, fake prescription drugs, the list is endless. I feel quite a lot of resentment towards China.

This pretty much sums up why you are the most despised poster on this board and why so many here would willingly smash your smug face in with a brick. You contribute nothing.

i took 2 chinese courses at school. Never doing it again. The languge looks cool, but gods, its so hard to learn. I'm glad King Sejong had the scholars invent hangeul.

The main things I dislike about China are their complete disregard for intellectual property and their blatant denial of human rights: The State first, people second. Most of the people are tolerable. It's the brainwashing government that's scary.

Just you wait until stevemcgarrett sees this thread! Steve??

I admit that China worries me. Some time ago, they use to call it "the sleeping giant." Have a feeling a day will come when the world had wished they never woke up ...

All the points in the OP are irrelevant, though, and a few are fallacious. Oh, well.

Jinju, please for the love of your supposed god, shut up. There was not one single thing in your 'rant' that is even worth considering as true. Of course they do have their faults, like any country. However, cultural transference is something you havent learned obviously.

EDIT: Like i said, they have their faults. But nothing you mentioned was one of them. In fact, most dont actually fear china if they understand the international trade complexities that they hold with multiple countries (and how seriously dependent they are). While they do abuse people, that business practice is not a universal thing in their culture. It is not like everyone does that, as you make it out to be. I think number four in your rant goes to prove your ignorance in this subject.

No direct offense, but your whole rant was this:

Quote:

I hate china.

1. I don't understand their writing. It is especially confusing since i havent studied into it far enough. Three countries in close proximity of china have languages based on chinese and are coming up with medial, technical, and other marvels, but i still hate it!

2. I hate chinese food. I cant believe people would eat this, i would much rather eat my fat and grease injected burger while i insult their amazing history.

3. I like to take things out of proportion. With China's dominance in the production market for multiple products, failures are expected as well as corruption, but i havent learned that yet. Yet i use alot of china produced goods that i love, but thats a secret.

4. They were rude to me, so i dont trust them! They are all thieves and will rape you in your sleep!
