My fiance was told that most Korean English teachers are "active". This is good because "It is good to be active in Korea". (As is typically the case in Korea, that's all the explanation youre going to get about why something is the way it is; we should, we should not, it is, it isnt, etc etc is the endall of dialect about a topic).
Being active means something about like, "being extroverted". But also, it means, "to be positive". One who is active is never critical.. and therefore, active people are agreeable and likeable....
So, Im thinking, most people you meet here seem alot like they're trying to run for class president when you meet them for the first time.. and the value of "being active" explains it... |
